Hi.  I’m Sherrie, a Vegan Chef with specialization in “raw” foods.  I offer personalized culinary services and classes.

I’m very particular about what I eat and know it can be a challenge to find the time and resources to prepare nutritious meals, especially when traveling.  I’m grateful to be able to provide healthy options for locals & visitors.

My approach to food comes from both, the scientist in me and my appreciation of nature. I strive to feature ingredients fresh from the garden, in all their natural glory.  Exploring ingredients in different forms is one of my hobbies; always looking for new combinations to tantalize the taste buds.

What do I mean by "Raw Food"?

Generally, it’s food not exposed to temperatures above 118 degrees F.  The purpose is to retain the maximum amount of nutrition.  For me, this means using fresh, organic, whole foods. I prepare both, cooked and unheated recipes.

The name Green Being Cuisine came about from a combination of things.  It’s a reminder for me to always strive to be the Greenest Being I can be.  This means sustainability, responsibility and appreciation.  I’m constantly adapting my recipes to use local, sustainable and fresh, whole foods as well as teach others how to work with their local ingredients.
